COMMUNITY GARDENS
Landscape & design & work in an operational community garden with fruit, vegs and herbs. The knowledge gained from working with great gardeners is invaluable. There is a huge satisfaction in seeing your efforts come to fruition. Good fun socially gardening in a group & interacting with admiring passerby's.
We meet every Thursday & have watering roster days during summer.

DUMBLEYUNG BOWLING CLUB
We organise social & pennant bowls. A GREAT GAME!
No prior experience necessary, meet a fun loving bunch of locals, opportunity to travel to other towns to widen your friendships & sporting base. Club roll up on a Friday night with dinner at the Dumbleyung District Club.
Pennants on a Tuesday for ladies & Saturday for men beginning mid October.

DUMBLEYUNG & DISTRICT MEN'S SHED
Meeting place for men. A safe & friendly environment for men to meet & talk, also do woodwork & metalwork. And, importantly, there is no pressure.
Men can just come and have a yarn and a cuppa if that is all they’re looking for.
Members of Men’s Sheds come from all walks of life – the bond that unites them is that they are men with time on their hands and they would like something meaningful to do with that time.
Come and see for yourself!

DUMBLEYUNG EVENTS COMMITTEE (DEC)
DEC is a volunteer based events committee. We organise the annual Taste of Dumbleyung festival every April & provide support for other events within the Shire.
We meet on the first Tuesday of every month.

Providing children aged 1-12 with an opportunity to experience, learn and build their skills in the sport of gymnastics, in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.
Located in the Gym Shed at Nenke Park, Kukerin.

DUMBLEYUNG HOCKEY CLUB
Provides Competition Hockey for Juniors and Mens. The club is a very easy going club that enjoys the competition as well as the social side of hockey. Training on Wednesdays (Juniors - Afternoons, Mens - Evenings)

DUMBLEYUNG LANDCARE INC
Volunteer Committee that oversees the conservation and environmental features across the shire and assist in the implementation of projects tackling weeds, pests and soil conservation issues, particularly saline reclamation projects. If you value the environment you live in and wish to participate in conserving and preserving it, this group welcomes volunteers to assist in a range of conservation activities. Committee meetings are held 3 times per year and new members are always welcome. Activities involve weed control and tree planting occurring over the winter months. Opportunities to go wildflower walks, bird watching events, discover the presence of native fauna found in the shire and learn about your local environment.

WE ARE SEEKING: Volunteers to carry out a variety of activities during the year and other interested people who are keen to learn about the local environment by participating in local events.

DUMBLEYUNG NETBALL CLUB
The Dumbleyung Netball Club trains weekly on Wednesdays and plays competitive netball games as a part of the Katanning Netball association. As well as fitness and netball in a friendly team environment we are a fun club who enjoys socialising outside of game commitments. Games are held Saturday afternoons from April to September.

DUMBLEYUNG THEATRE CLUB
Entertaining our community through performing arts (Local and external productions). Our club is not by limited age, gender, ability or season - The Theatre Club is open to everyone to join! The Theatre Club is more than just performing on stage - budding writers, event coordinators, directors, actors, dancer, stage managers, lighting and sound managers are just a few if the roles members have taken on or discovered a talent for. If you're looking for lifelong friendships and an instant family - this is the club for you! One big production a year around the middle of the year (commitment of 2 - 3 months for rehearsals which begin as 2 days per week to 3 days per week till the actual performance). There may also be event managing required for visiting productions (One/year although sporadic) or with school productions.

KUKERIN P&C
Parent representative group for the Kukerin Primary School - assist the school with purchases and labour around the school. It is great to be involved with the P&C as it is going directly to our children - they benefit at school form everything we can help the school with! We have a meeting the first Monday of every school term and then only get together if need be for fundraising and working bees.

Competes in the Under Great Southern Cricket Association and assist in the development of young players. It's a great sport to be involved in over summer and we have a fantastic family friendly atmosphere with all the family coming along to watch. Training is each Thursday evening at 5pm, alternating between Kukerin and Dumbleyung. the season starts mid-October and runs to mid-March. Games are generally Saturday afternoons.

LAKE GRACE KUKERIN HOCKEY CLUB
Provides Field Hockey. The Lake Grace Kukerin Honey Club is a proud, enthusiastic and fun club who supports development of our junior and seniors alike.
We play in a strong association with high quality hockey.
* Winter Sport between April and September.
* Trainings on Wednesdays - Juniors 4pm, Seniors 6pm alternating between Lake Grace & Kukerin.
* Saturdays are a family day out on with all grades playing one after each other.

Great for fitness, good people, social club and venue. The season is approximately from the beginning of April to the end of September.

ST JOHN AMBULANCE - DUMBLEYUNG/KUKERIN SUB CENTRE
We respond to ambulance calls in our area and meet regularly to keep our training up to date. Our sub centre is social and friendly and we enjoy helping people in our community.
We meet fortnightly to train in a professional yet social and friendly atmosphere.

WE ARE SEEKING: Dedicated, helpful, committed volunteers to join our team. You can be trained as a driver, First Aid Officer, First Responder, EMA or EMT.
Participate in training, meetings, conferences and personal development opportunities. Volunteer for sporting events, transfers, 000 calls as a team with St John and work alongside Fire & Rescue, Bush Fire Brigades and Police.
